The Journal of the History of Biology has selected Ryan Hearty’s article on ecologist Ruth Patrick as winner of its 2022 Everett Mendelsohn Prize! This prize rewards the best paper published in the journal over the three preceding years, determined on the basis of “an assessment of originality, scholarship, and significance for the history of biology.”
